Sounds good. What paper? I think the mat paper you used cut down a lot of the details and there already is a good amount of softness around the edges with the shallow depth of field. Seeing the image on the computer screen reveals some beautiful markings of the distressed baseball which were not revealed on the mat paper. I dunno...just sayin.
