Having just returned from my first of five 10 day residencies on the way to hopefully obtaining an MFA in Visual Arts from Lesley University College of Art and Design I have a few observations I'd like to make:
- I feel like someone dropped a box full of puzzle pieces on my head and I'm slowly putting them together
- I'm trying to find answers for questions that I didn't even know that I had.
- The level of talent from top to bottom in this program is incredible.
- The intellect and caring of the faculty is beyond imagination.
Question #1 - What is my work really about? Is it about despair and frustration and death like I thought, or is it about hope and a call to action?
We shall see.
